Teaching English in Manaus

Try posting on the Manaus job forum page here on this site also try Google and query " English Teaching Posions/Jobs Manaus Brazil" there are probably a few schools(private) that maybe interested in your skills , it will also be helpful if you have your resume translated to Portuguese. Also query on the Expat.com site "Credentials for Teaching English/Americano" (lol), and good luck, also research "Safety in Manaus", from what I read it's kinda Wild There, have you checked with your friends in the area for tips on living in Manaus. Check out "Numbeo" it has some figures on the Cost of Living for most Cities in Brazil.

Thanks for the ideas.  I will do some research and make some more posts on various sites as time gets closer.  Is there a Manaus jobs forum on this site?  Thanks for the heads up about safety.  I have lived in Manaus before, so I know what to expect.

Good Luck, just stay abreast of happenings in Manaus as it is different like Belem. All Port Cities are crazier and no telling what 18 months maybe?????. As long as you avoid the traffic (lol). All kinds of traffic#.

Another resource that could be helpful is the website bellow. It is a governamental service where companies can register available positions. This link is specific for english teacher position available in Manaus. It show 27 positions.
