registration fee for marriage in a cartório

Hello everyone.
    I am an indian married to a Brazilian woman for 5 years and have 2 kids of 5 years.our marriage was registered in india and Brazil embassy in India .now we r planning to live in brazil.my wife is in Brazil now .I want to know what is the process of registering our marriage and how much is the fees for it .embassy has asked us  to register the marriage within 180 days of first arrival in Brazil . So how much time does it take for this process?

When we registered our marriage,  the cartório charged us for issuing the "Traslado de Casamento" document, showing that the marriage was registered locally.   I don't remember how much it was exactly, but it was between R$70 and R$100 in 2017.  We picked it up seven working days after handing in the Certidão de Casamento from the Brazilian Consulate.

Really, if you have the Certidão Consular and you're in your spouse's hometown, the cartório has to register it:  they don't have an option, so that makes it pretty easy and automatic.
