Resigning

Hi,
I have signed 3 year contract about a year ago, but would like to resign from this job and join another company in Saudi.

What is the least cost and quick way to do this?

My contract is a general one, no specific things about resigning.

Thank you,

It really is going to depend on your current employer.

You cannot move from one employer to another without procuring a Letter of No Contest from your current employer, because you are inside the KSA.

If you can get this letter, then moving to a new employer is just a simple matter of having your current work visa cancelled and a new one issued (which you will probably have to get in another country).

Good luck with your current employer.
Thanks, current company will not give me release. relationship is broken :( .

option 1. go on vacation. after how many months I am legally allowed to come back? (I have friends who is willing to offer me Visa)

option 2. resign from this company. go back to my country with exit stamped. after how many months I am legally allowed to come back?

I have been told that its 4 months before you can come back in both of the above situations.

Come back prior to 4 months then a letter from your current employer is still required.:(

Primalka...leave the country on vacation.  Quickly "lose" your passport, get a new one, submit the new one with the Visa application for new company and "Bob's Your Uncle."

Done.

If the authorities require a work history with your new application, do NOT put your current employer on the resume.
Thanks
Im not sure its all that simple...

meaning, if current employer disapproves, they will put you in some sort of blacklist.

remember when you first entered Saudi, under the employment visa? there were some series of fingerprinting taken, and photos.. which is used for the registration of your iqama.

so.. unless you have a different sets of finger prints, then entries beyond that wouldnt be a problem :)

not being sarcastic, but just an opinion.
fingerprinting thing comes into play in the case when you leave the current employer and they are not happy with you then they can put a khorooj and an additional stamp (the name of that stamp I cant remember) but that basically blacklists you from transferring your Iqama to some other employee. So in that case even if you get a new passport you wont be able to get into KSA!
good day, what will I do if my employer did'nt accept my resignation?
go to the ministry of labor
and what will happen if i will go there? im afraid mybe it will create another problem again.
dont be a baby and stick up for yourself
hahaha....nice one! thnks!
