Hello sir, I am manoj singh from bhopal,I want to know that 120 OMR is good for living in muscat. I got offer from catering service as a waiter they offer 120 OMR + food +accommodation +medical. I am high school pass. It is comfortable for me or not.

Hi manoj singh manoj,

For the position you have mentioned, the package offered is quite reasonable.

And you will not get anything much better than this for that job.

By local standards, yes, the salary is very low indeed. But that's how much that job can get.

If you want to live, you can live within that salary. Not a problem.

Thank you sir for reply I want to know that in offer letter they also mentioned probation time of 3 month if he don't like my work they dismiss me from work

Hi Manoj,

Salary is just ok for survival and you may save all i.e. Rs. 18-19K per month.

But check other terms of contract:
1) How many days and hours working time? You should get 2 days off
2) If not, how much is the overtime paid
3) When can you return to India - once a year or once in two years? Be prepared for this

Take decision after looking into everything.
