Anybody who is presently working in Basra Iraq can give such info's concerning security?

Have plan to move to Basra for a role in a company that hires me, yet I am having doubt of the security.

Hi there is an invitation for me in iraq if I pass the interview I might be there but i'm afraid to do so because I dont have any idea on the current situation in basra iraq for the gpp project. Please tell me if its safe now working in basra iraq? Thanks anyway.
