Neither city is completely safe due to the ongoing war, though Lviv is significantly safer than Kharkiv. Kharkiv remains a high-risk city due to its proximity to the front lines and frequent missile attacks, whereas Lviv, located in western Ukraine, is considered safer but is still subject to occasional missile strikes. It is crucial to follow local authorities' safety guidelines, monitor air raid alerts, and take shelter immediately when they are announced in both cities.
