Short term accommodation in Madeira

Hi,

family of 3 from Poland. We are looking for a place to stay anywhere on Madeira on these dates 16.12.-23.12.2026. We will be renting a car.

Would anyone want to rent (a room, a flat....).

There are many hotels and Airbnbs in Madeira. I suggest staying in the Lido neighborhood (Funchal), with many hotels, AirBnb, etc., renting a car in Funchal, and exploring the island from that base. You can take day trips and always return to the same accommodation.


Some places, like Pico Ruivo or Pico do Areeiro, require an online visit reservation to avoid overcrowding at the same time and place. If you'd like more information about this, let me know.


If you prefer a private apartment, holiday home, or local guest room rather than a hotel:
