Wondering if someone can shed a bit of light on my dilema. I am slovakian nationals but I was working in the UK for 15 years, came to Malta last week, have got job but my new employer wants to tax my income 35% as an british expat for 6 months. I have slovakian passport. Thanks for advise.

Nothing to do with being british, but its about being new and not yet fully resident. I belive if you stay long term they refund it or give you credits or something
