Spouse Visa before landing in Malta on Work Permit

Hello everyone,
I have a question regarding the spouse visa.
I am an IT consultant and got a job offer from a company in Malta . They are offering me the visa sponsorship but for spouse they are saying you can apply for her residence permit once you are in Malta. I need to know how long this process will take if I come to Malta and then apply for my wife resident permit and is there a way that we can travel together ? I mean applying for her residence permit/visa before I travel to Malta?

We both are non EU and the salary offered to me by the company is €40,000 + annually.

Any help will be highly appreciated. thanks

hello brother , i have the same situation us you , my husband got a job offer in malta we are both TCN , malta doesnt permit visa spouce which called visa reunification family only after you complete 2 years of residence there , my husband is living there since 2019 he applied for me nd im still waiting there answer.

Me too searching job in Malta as storekeeper/ warehouse job . Is there any scope and applied to many agency but not getting any positive response...

Any jobs are first offered to locals, then EU citizens followed by TCN's.
