Ryanair online check in.

Hi all.

Its not really a huge thing but it says on the ryanair website that online check in is available 15 days before your flight.

I went online on the 19th July to print my boarding pass which printed fine (for travelling out on the 5th August)which is 17 days previous to flying and so thought I could print my pass, and then check in a later date within the 15 day period.

So today I went onto the website to "Check in" but the check in button won't highlight and my details are unalterable so, have i already checked in by printing the boarding pass and entering my details (all be it 2 days early)or has something gone wrong?

Have phoned secveral times and just got a new beginner called Patrick who loves nike running shoes but knows jack S*** about my predicament.

Any help or advice would be greatly received.

I think that as I have printed the pass it has also checked me in albeit 2 days early? Is this usual?

Hi Jay,

I would say keep trying to call Ryanair and see if you can get someone with at least a bit of knowledge. It would be horrible if you take advice on face value and go to the airport only to be told your ticket is invalid as we all know what Ryanair is like.

You have my sympathy.
I have just completed my Ryan Air check in and it's the most complicated thing I've had to do on a computer for a long time! So many boxes to tick (mostly to opt out of extras).

George thank you also I'm sure it has too but is it usual to let you do it early? Have you ever done this?

Lol Jackmaan if you get through the check in proces for Ryanair I think you can find a job in Malta as an IT expert!

Hi Jayjay,

If you do not manage to complete the check-in online, make sure to get to the airport with more than 4 hours before your flight. It happened to me once not do the check-in online via their website and even though I was at the airport within 3 hours for my flight, I have to pay quite a lot of money (for me my wife and my son), coz the check-in was not done previously. You can still do the check-in at their at the airport but has to be done with 4 hours before the flight.

Ok George was absolutely correct if you have printed the pass you have booked in. The operator said that you should in most cases be able to book in 21 days before your flight ( although I think they rig the inward as 15 days to catch anyone staying longer than 2 weeks)
