If they have already overstayed their visa the new regulations will not help them to regularize their position.

For EU citizens the consequences are not really that serious, in comparison.

Hi Ricky - Is it fair to assume that this wont affect NON EU FAMILY MEMBERS? I ask because the length between the appointment and actually getting the necessary eResidence might be more than 6 months and normally Tourist Visa cant be renewed beyond that unless there are exceptional circumstances.
