Real estate agents that don't charge commission

Can anyone recommend any real estate agents that don't charge commission? Best I've been able to find so far is half a month's rent.

dont think they exist - cant say how they can make money if they dont.

best option if you dont wish to pay commissions is to ask round the local bars cafes shops etc they all know people with accom for rent. ebven the locals - indigenous and ex pats will know someone or something available.

Some agents just charge the landlord, which is how they make money.

I'm definitely planning on asking around locally, and checking the classifieds in the papers!

just be careful of the billing method too - watch out for considerably more expensive domestic utility rates as opposed to residential rates ok .....

cant say ive ever come across an agent that solely charges the landlord....its usually 50% each landlord and tenant

Yep, already aware of that one - although thanks for pointing it out. I've been doing quite a lot of reading (much of it on this site, which thanks to regulars such as yourself is an *excellent* resource).
