Dual citizen

Just a quick question.
Does anyone no
What is the difference of me being a dual citizen of Malta
Then
Coming to reside in Malta as a British expat

I did read somewhere there is no difference other then if I ever wanted to buy a property but Surely that's not all

If you are  a Maltese citizen you have a right to reside in Malta. If British have a right to reside only if pass the income/capital and healthcare requirements

ps getting Maltese citizenship is extremely difficult unless you have blood relatives who are Maltese, or if married to Maltese

My father is maltese my parents were married at my time of birth and are still married my dad still holds maltese passport even though lives in UK , my grandparents are both maltese and reside in Malta and have done all there life's,

Thanks I did come across that before I want to apply  but didnt no  if being a dual citizen or  not really made a difference,
I was born in between said dates which I am sure my application for dual citizen would be fine

My husband was born in Malta, we are thinking of moving to Malta. He does have a Maltese passport, can I and the children obtain a Maltese passport. We are in Australia.
