welcome to the forum.

I know someone reliable who looks after cats and dogs in your own home. It is certainly easier if you are in the larger Sliema area.

Cats usually only require someone to come in for an hour or two per day to check food,litter and have a play.

Is that what you are looking for or someone to be there all the time - usually more for dogs. And where will you be located?

Thank you so much, this site is helpful.    I haven't decided on the timing of move, probably this summer, so currently doing research.  Some regular  household help (cleaning, etc.) would also be needed, perhaps for several hours per week, and for cats, to come for a couple of hours per day only when we are away(although it's fine if someone stays over).     Will contact once we move.  Seems that we should find a place in a convenient place like Siliema, although we'd like to be in a quiet place, especially at night.  Perhaps a serviced apartment, if there is one in Malta?

I too have used Hannah's Pet Care Malta on several occasions to care for my cats. She pops over once a day to clean their litter, feed them and play with them a bit - simple! Always been pleased.

I was reading this post, I have spoken with you a few times regarding a few different things.  I have now made my move to Malta and have been here for 2 weeks and loving it so far! was wondering though if it was possible to get the contact info of your friend who housesits for pets?  I have a pointer and he doesnt do well in different environments so having someone stay at our home with him would be ideal.  I am now in qui si sana so it sounds like I am close by.  Thanks Ricky
