I cannot recommend a dealer since I bought both my cars from privat person, anyhow, imho it depends on the car, not the dealer.

Usually the content of platforms like THIS is more actual than the company's website.

On the bottom of this website you can find a listing of several auto dealers.
To google their website should not be a problem.

I take it that it's not strange to see that not one of the deals advertise to price of the cars.. :D

its absolutely normal - their excuse is they like to see you in the showroom or garage so that they can show you how good a service they give..but the reality is far different in many cases... ..LOL ridiculous - whats the point of going to see a car (or anything else for that matter as its the same with most shops outlets websites - just look at facebook pages very few with prices even at sale times) without a price and then finding after a lengthy chat that its not within your budget.
this is normal crazy sales techniques.

even sales signs say things like 40% OFF or less !!!!!!!!

you will also see once you are here many cars with just a mobile number on them usually meaning theyre for sale - but never a price. and when you ring - a price is usually not given they want you  to come and see then they negotiate - but beware an english look or accent and the price is much higher...take a local with you if you can

Thanks Toon, as usual some good advice..

Three cars in the last five years?  What on earth are you doing with them man?

only two for me and one for my son....but then saying that these roads eat cars for breakfast, tea and supper.....

yeah must admit it was a bit of an eye opener for me, really felt the difference when we got back home.

Saying that I worked in Sicily for a bit and that's the only place I refused to drive, complete bonkers over there :/

I think a very good one is http://maltapark.com/ . Indeed seems to have more car offers than anyone of the previous mentioned.

Hi Ken

Sicily is a peach to drive in. When we lived in Sardinia (now there is a place to watch your indicators) We (The family) 'road tripped' to Malta. We sailed from Cagliara to Palermo (spent a wonderful day in the famous market then had evening dinner with friends in the 'hills')....drove across Sicily.....what a wonderful drive that was (almost across a viaduct for  most of it).....did Etna and the 'city on the cliffs' then to pozzallo for the rest. Thought that was a bit of a journey.......until we went to Naples on a different holiday.....Now in my career (Redmik can confirm we go to some 'interesting places') I can can say that it was the most bizarre place to drive........I suppose it was the two cars that 'U' turned on the dual carriageway (in front of us) to return to the missed exit that did it for me.......oh! and the two bombs and three murders that went on that night in the centre. I've seen some things in my life.......Naples is one I can 'tick off' the chart not having to return to.

Now Alaska......that's a different story

Anyone else with horrific experiences?

Mike

Hi Mike,

Nice one, driven in a lot of countries but there was something about Sicily that did it for me :)

Have a few horror stories which I might tell later :D
