Free attractions for children

Hi,

can anyone advise on good free attractions or playground where we could go with 1,5 and 3,5 years old children?

Thanks a lot.

Ta' Qali has a great free childrens play area, cafe and seating for adults.

Terry,

could you be more specific? Do you mean like in the town? Or in some kind of a center?

Thanks a lot,
Jitka
Its the national sports centre between Mosta and Mdina. It also has a Sunday market and the tourist craft centre all in the same area.
Thanks a lot Terry.
Hi Jitka,

where do you live in Malta? There is a playground in Gzira on the Promenade, also in Ta xbiex and in Sliema oposite Plaza Hotel.

It depends where you live, there are a lot of possibilities free of charge.
I think every village has at least one park or playground for children and many of them have been newly constructed or rebuilt with EU funds.
... and most of them provide free WiFi for the adults :)

There are also a lot of parks and gardens in Malta, either with infrastructure for playing (e.g. Sliema, Ta'Qali, Bahrija) or without (e.g. Buskett, Paola, Sta Lucia).

btw, the opening of the Marsascala Family Park is scheduled for early next year. That's a very large project and is supposed to be a great attraction in the South.

PS: you could also explore your neighborhood using the satellite view of google maps or bing maps.
Thank you both Markus and Evi. We are not in Malta yet, moving next Sunday. I am just doing my reseach in advance:) I am just going to check a satellite view of the parks. Thanks.
San Anton Kitchen Gardens is a great place to take young children.
Thank you Damsel, sure will do.
