Moving out of current house

I am moving out of the current rented house 31st of July and have not currently found a replacement house. The current house is a rental and when i leave i will need to terminate the Water, Electric and Primetel internet. I paid deposits on some of these services so I hope they will return them.

Does anyone know what the process will be to terminate these? Do I need to visit their offices in Paphos and complete paperwork and provide electric and water meter readings?

You will take your lease, passport and. Id card plus the final meter reading on the day you go to EAC building in Paphos .. and do the transfer back to the owner. The deposit you paid will be  refunded back to you having settled the final bill from it.

Water takes a little longer as EOA are a long way behind on billing. if you have an EOA office where you live you can probably don it there

In both cases you may need to go with the landlord

Use a date  and timestamp.app for the fotos

Thank you. Looks like a busy last day then

Good luck its never easy

If the utility is in joint names do both people need to attend the office?

@phildraper

Not sure but did you both have to sign the original contract

Probably would require both signatures

Better to be prepared though

Yep
