Utilities cost

Can anyone tell me if there are details of the utilities cost of living in Cyprus on here. I may have seen something in the past but can’t find it?

Utility costs in Cyprus vary, but expect basic expenses (electricity, water, heating, cooling, garbage) for an apartment to average €150-€200 monthly, with significant seasonal spikes for air conditioning in summer and heating in winter, potentially reaching €200-€300+ for electricity alone. Water is relatively cheap (€20-€40/month for a family), while broadband internet is around €30-€50/month, and mobile plans cost about €20/month.

We’ve found utilities pretty reasonable, just received our last electricity bill which covered 22/12/2025 - 24/02/2026 and it was €96. Refuse tax was €170 for the year, still waiting for the other municipality tax which is going to be €60. Water is generally about €25-35. (Quarterly)

We have a mobile plan each €10 each. Internet we pay about €30 a month.

If you have a pool the electric and water will be higher
