Hello everyone,

Moving to Belgium is an exciting opportunity to discover a new culture and try things you might not even have heard of before. To make sure other expats and expats-to-be do not miss a thing, would you be able to answer the following questions on activities not-to-be-missed in Belgium?

What are the activities everyone must try at least once in Belgium?

What are the activities that one should partake in if they want to discover the local culture?

Are there any activities that are characteristic of Belgium?

Do you have an anecdote to share about any of the activities listed above?

Please share your experience,

Priscilla

Even as I am Belgian, I have not finished discovering the treasures of my country.

In conclusion, If you pay attention, you will discover that Belgium is the mix of three different cultures that are Wallonia with its French heritage, Flanders with its Dutch heritage and the Eastern cantons with their German heritage. So in a territory of about 30000km2, you will discover different traditions, different languages, different folklores. So get out, get moving, but above all, get out of your linguistic ghettos to really discover this country.
