Selling and marchamo

When you say "bike" I am assuming you're referring to a motorcycle I hope.      Yes, you do have to be paid current on the Marchamo in order to sell it.  Technically, you are responsible for paying it as title cannot transfer until it's paid.   The other option would be to find a buyer who would agree to pay it but you would have to reduce the price of the moto to offset the difference.

You can go online and/or text to find out what is owed.  You just enter your license plate number to find out the balance.  DOES SOMEONE KNOW THE TEXT NUMBER OR WEB ADDRESS FOR THIS???  I couldn't find it.

If you have your old Marchamo, you can also take it to the bank or to INS to get the amount owed.
