Barbados citizenship

Hi all,

can anyone give me some advice on the procedure to set up citizenship in Barbados. Both my parents was born in Barbados, but I was born in the UK.

would I be able to get Barbados citizenship and passport?

is it a long and lengthy and expensive process?

Hello,

If both your parents were born in Barbados, you may be eligible for citizenship by descent. This process is generally available to individuals born outside of Barbados to a Barbadian parent.

The application is usually submitted through the Barbados Immigration Department.
