I asked around a few shops in Cho Lon - no luck!
Hi Annie,

I love Hong Kong snow ice too. But I have not seen any shop around in HCM City.
There's actually one shop along ba thang hai, it's opposite a supermarket, a rather large one off a round about. The shop name is called kem tuyet. Nothing much to shout about, but at least it is something.
I hear one shop you can buy for Hong Kong snow ice
This shop name Băng Thành
Close to Nguyễn Tri Phương Bridge

Address here : 146 Trần Hưng Đạo, W.7, Đ.5, Hồ Chí Minh City.
thanks guys! I finally found a very good shop call PACMAN snow ice on Pham Viet Chanh St district 1! the snow ice is exactly like the one in HongKong!
I've been to this Pacman Snow Ice on 13 Pham Viet Chanh st, Dist. 1.
It's truly a fantastic experience. This perhaps is the best desserts house there is in Saigon, clean place, air con and fast internet. I really love the Snow Ice here, the flavors are very fruity and authentic unlike other places where it is very powdery. Highly recommended !
Um, with the risk of sounding a bit stupid.. what is snow ice? Anything cold and fruity sounds good!
Annie Tang. It just cone from Viet Nam may be two week ago
But i have a lucky my friend let me go to this shop with her two day before your answer Post. Yes! It's all call "snow ice" .
But snow ice of Taiwan and Hong Kong is too much different!
Event they are Asian both
And both using Chinese are their morther languge.

Ask i try before!
Snow ice Hong Kong is better, not chemical and not cool to much :)
Is snow ice the same thing as we call shaved ice in the US?
Hi Annie I saw one shop selling this snow ice in Now Zone shopping center at Nguyen Van Cu street, District 1, near Nikko Hotel. It's called Snow Town in the food court. I haven't tried there but I tried in Singapore and it seems they look the same.
So, does anyone know what snow ice is. I'm curious, as are several others. Can't wait to hear the answer. If it is like what we have in Texas I would love to find some as well.
It looks like this pic,

Now that I look at the photo closer the cattle in Texas do something like this, but we never eat it!!!

I remembered it was hot in HCMC one day, well everyday, and all I could think of was a slurpee quenching my thirst. Besides HongKong snow ice, do they sell them here?

Hi anyone wants to join us tomorrow at 4.30 pm in front of Highland Coffee in between Caravelle and Hyatt hotels? Then we go to the Snow Ice :)
Already includes:
ntvan1280
Vincent Ong
ntvan1280! Why don't you post the address where it sells, so others also can enjoy when they free :D
Oh yeah, it's Pacman Snow Ice on 13 Pham Viet Chanh st, Dist. 1. For those who know how to go there already. If not, join us in front of Highland Coffee :D
Cheers,
Thanks dear!
Well I know that there are 2 places selling these.

One is at Le Thi Rieng Park. Not sure I spelled it correctly. It's the one opposite the Cholon Electronics on Cach Mang Thang 8 Street.

The other one is, if I'm not wrong, Taiwan desserts. It's something like snow ice. You can go to Crescent Mall in District 7, Phu My Hung. The shop is near breadtalk facing the reservoir.

Good luck finding!
I absolutely loved Snow Ice at Pacman - 13 Pham Viet Chanh. To be honest this is the best, pure fruit taste and especially no additives. We were quite hungry and did try 4 different flavours: Mango, durian, guava and Coconut. Absolutely fantastic. Will definitely recommend this Pacman Dessert to you all.
I got this pic from an article, too
