Where can i find Black Rice ?
You can find black rice in all supermarkets, neighbourhood wet markets, and rice shops everywhere. There are hundreds of places just in Saigon alone.
Gạo lứt is the general name for husked rice that still have the bran and germ layer intact. The reddish brown gạo lứt is called gạo huyết rồng, the black gạo lứt is called gạo cấm or gạo đen. Aside from the different colours, gạo lứt is also sorted by grades. Buying rice online is never a good idea. You need to inspect, smell, and feel the grains before deciding on what you want to put in your body.
