I'm Gonna start working in Ho chin minh in couple weeks.Based in E-Town.Any advice on places to go, regular eats, leisure activities?

Where is E-town? Do you mean Era Town in District 7?

E Town 1 & E Town 2 is located on Duong Cong Hoa, Tan Binh District, HCMC / Saigon

In Tan Binh you can go to Vuvuzela beer club for some drinks.
For movies: Lotte cinema (Pico Plaza - 20 Cộng Hòa, Phường 12, Hồ Chí Minh) or CGV Hoang Van Thu (1 & 2 Floor, 415 Hoàng Văn Thụ, Phường 2, Quận Tân Bình)
Coffeshops: near Pico Plaza Hub Book Cafe (18 Cộng Hòa, 12, Tân Bình); Sweet Factory Bakery (18A Cộng Hòa, P. 12, Quận Tân Bình)
Foods: Alfresco (111 Cộng Hòa, phường 13, Tan Binh)
And many street foods over there.

I work and live near e-town. It got a pool there but under reno now. Cong hoa is just 20 minutes away from the city. There are a lot of things to do there. Many gyms and yoga class. You can buy bicycles and do biking. There is a big park as well near the big supermarket (maximart)
But personally, i am also looking for some steady peers who i can work out or just eat out with. I dont want to bother other locals on weekend coz they have families too.
