[HCM] Where to have a real New Year's eve party?

Hi,

My friend and I are looking for a place which has the real New Year's eve party where ppl get together, eat, drink and count down.
Were on Bui Vien, D1 but didnt like it. It was a mess last year over there.

what about chill sky bar? dont know whether they have special event but it seems to be quite popular:)

If its anything like north america, it'll be crowded everywhere with jacked up prices. Always found house parties to be the most fun on nye

I'm surprise the Solar New Year is even a big deal in Việt Nam. In America, it's usually people out drinking in a bar until the clock strikes midnight...or out in Times Square to watch the ball drop...you might get to see some fireworks (but fireworks really has more meaning for the 4th of July).

I like the Lunar New Years celebration in Việt Nam (Tết Nguyên Đán) much more. It's not just the passing of a clock but has many superstitions, traditions, family time, returning home....almost like Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years all rolled in one.
