Last time I ate in HCMC, I found an American eatery and porked out.  I think I spent over 100K for one person and I know that's not normal.

    The prices ran between 45-60K VND. I had a wonderful duck w/ a wonderful berry sauce. For the life of me I can't remember what type of berry it was, I want to say blueberry, but it was not. I also had the best salad with a wonderful tuna. They also serve very reasonably priced wines, beer etc. I doubt you could get a meal this caliber in many places. I know I'm going back.

Maybe strawberry?  Đà Lạt areas grows alot of strawberries.  Haven't had much French cuisine so this sounds like a good idea.

  Now that I slept on it I remember what type of sauce was on the duck. What the heck does Da Lat strawberries have with anything..go figure. It was a mulberry sauce, and I could have cared less where the mulberries were grown, it simply tasted good.
