Hi I'm Darren from Singapore!

Hi,

I'm Darren and I'm living in District 10, HCMC, Viet Nam.

Currently teaching part-time spoken English/TOEIC/TOEFL/IELTS in a local language center. Like most Singaporeans, I speak 4 languages: English, Chinese(Mandarin), Hokkien(Taiwanese) and Cantonese.

My hobbies are: Learning Vietnamese (since Apr'13), Karaoke, Playing the guitar, Badminton and Soccer

Looking forward to make more friends in the great city!

Welcome to Vietnam. Fellow Singapore here too. Nice to know you. Doing the same things as you too. Well if you play football and would like to go for a kick sometime then let me know. We have a group of foreigners playing in D7 on Thursdays and Sundays. Would love to meet up with you man!

So you work in the "Lotus Tower" (Bitexco Financial Tower)?ย  What floor?ย  Can you get to the Helipad?ย  I want a tour of that place and go out on the Helipad.ย  You guys could single-handedly revive the Vietnamese Tourism industry if you let tourists go out on that Helipad and get a sweeping view of the entire city.

I'm currently helping a Vietnamese teach run an introductory speaking lesson club. It will be on every Sunday 5.30pm-7.30pm. Fees are 50,000 for 1 month. Would you be interested to join?
