Travel Agency in D1 (on Pham Ngu Lao street) handles Thailand tours?

Does anyone know of a reputable (and inexpensive) travel agency that handle "all inclusive" tour (from HCMC to Thailand) on Pham Ngu Lao street?

I heard about MUATRAVEL but haven't confirmed. I don't like tours that take you to shopping areas. I hate shopping. I'd rather enjoy seeing the real Thai Land. Please let me know. I plan to visit Viet Nam in November 1 and so I would like to take a tour to Thai Land for 6 days / 5 nights. I don't have a motorbike so I would like something on Pham Ngu Lao that I can walk to.

I suggest you check in our directory the list of travel agencies in Ho Chi Minh City please ---> Travel agencies in Ho Chi Minh City .It might help

Please high note that, they (travel agency) have to have a special certificate (that issued by Government) if they want to make the outbound tour (organize oversea tour). As i know, there are a lot of travel agencies in Pham Ngu Lao, Bui Vien area, they sale tours (inbound and outbound also) but almost of outbound tours will be passed to other organizer. Just be aware of that.
If i were you, i will choose the services of Saigon Tourist or Viettravel. More safety.

Type in Google and you will find them. Many agents have been caught selling tickets that they have no authority to do so.

now that is a SCARY thoughts. How do people know? Will people honor the tickets they sell? or their tickets "worthless"?

Now that colinoscapee brought it up, I do recall reading the newspapers about this very issue. Once an agency gets caught, they simply move to another location and put up a new sign. Tourists aren't aware of their past indiscretions. That's pretty much the modus operandi of alot of these shysters.

You really don't know until you go there and see for yourself. There was a group of tourists that went to Thai Land and got stuck because...let me see if I can find that article for you.
