Sponsor company ghosting me

You mention family? Are you married to a local? I'd you are the best option would be to speak to the local VN about a TRC.. as of January 2021 spousal temporary residents card exempts you from a work permit

BUT - there has been no sign of when they are going  start issuing visas and TRCs again, lots of people are waiting despite borders opening soon

Sadly, even with his company credentials no one, even the police if we're a legitimate entry would do anything

Your best, and only option is to wait for borders/visa situation to change and then come over on a tourist visa. As soon as you land, start making rapid plans to stay. TRC would be the easiest, your "future" wife becomes your sponsor.

No degree is trickier, you could in the meantime get as many recognized teaching qualifications under your belt as possible TEFL/TESOL etc as there is still a shortage of teachers. The problem you're going to have is, your job opportunities will be limited by who you can work for.. I'm not 100% sure but foreigners can legally work for a foreign owned organization as a professional or expert in a given field without a degree.. does teaching count? That's a gray area.

The easiest solution ignore a job requirement is get married, get your TRC and you can stay for three years. But, job hunting here for foreigners is incredibly hard. You could be the best in your field, and a local will have vietnamese knowledge and be cheaper too

I think somebody posted in the forum that even though you don't have to do those things you still are required to declare your employment with... ?

I think somebody posted in the forum that even though you don't have to do those things you still are required to declare your employment with... ?

Its reported by your employer, for tax reasons, but you dont have to go through the tedious task of getting a WP.

I read that too somewhere... But I'm guessing that's to try and stop people avoiding tax maybe?
