Sure there is.. there is Kawasaki and Ducati.. also harleys but I would not consider them as decent... 😜

Honda XR. Not too big for the city, and absolutely perfect everywhere else. I bought one in January and just sold it after putting 30,000 km on it doing the whole country about 4 times top to bottom, and Cambodia and Laos too. I am about to buy another. If you want any info, just reach out. I have used this same bike in Brazil, Europe, Canada. With the roads in Viet Nam and if you want to get a little remote, I highly recommend this bike. Good luck.

Thats the truth! The XR I just sold was just 125, with a Yoshi pipe to make it more fun. In Canada I use the 230 (which is a CRF, basically an XR) and in France and Brazil 150s. My next bike in VN will be the 150.

Large capacity motorbikes are available in Saigon. You need an over-170cc licence to legally ride them in VN. If you live outside Saigon, I suggest you go to Saigon, chose your bike, then order it through a local dealer where ever you live and register it in your province. This avoids extra registration costs. It costs a packet to first register in Saigon and then transfer the registration to your province.
