I am considering a teaching job offer in Tashkent and would like to ask the following questions:
- how much of a barrier is not speaking the language work against me ?
- how does one communicate/interact on a day by day basis? in shops, bank etc
- is it complicated to open a bank account, get a SIM card, connect internet, TV subscription
- what is the winter weather like? are homes well designed for winter.
- is there a public bus or metro service in the city.
- what are the medical facilities like? do medical staff/ persons understand English?
- how easy is it to travel out either regionally or internationally?
