Healthcare in Tajikistan

Well what can I say, I have spent the last month or so looking at the local facilities and I feel like I have gone back a hundred years. My advice is firstly get a very good evacuation and repatriation insurance!!! Secondly don't get ill or injured in this country!! Because believe me you are not going to want to be admitted to a local hospital. I'm not plugging my own organisation here but the only ex pat Doctor thatI currently know of in Dushanbe is at the Prospekt Medical clinic. At least there you will be seen by someone who actually qualified in medicine!
