Moving to Shiyan Town, Shenzhen... What is it like?

Hi Guys!

Moving to Shiyan Town, just out of the main part of Shenzhen in a couple of months for work. Accommodation and work will be there. I am trying to get some info on the area but Google gives me very little. I can see it is mostly industrial but is it okay... in the way of spending time outside of work? I can't see a gym nearby or much in the way of bars etc.

If anyone has any experience in the area, I would love to know.

Hi, my friend, you mean Shiyan in Bao'an district?

I think it would be good to buy a car...

I used to work and live in Bao'an, North of the Bao'an airport. I was happy that I had a TV back then...

And also, if you live near an industrial area, I would suggest you get an air purifier.

Oh, and I remember I had a bike. It was fun to ride a bike around since there are not many cars around.
