Hi everyone,
My flight to penang is on October and wanted to stay there for good. Any idea on what to do first? Like getting a job there, money that I should have that is enough to start in penang? Any pointers is greatly appreciated.

You need a job because that gives an immigration pass which allows you to stay. Best to find a job before you arrive because hiring people from the Philippines requires clearance from your country and to then enter on a special visa (VDR) To be able to get the work permit.
