Meeting new friends

hello everyone! am a first timer here, wish to find new friends in this city. i've been here in shanghai for about half a year studying med school, and still roam around the city by myself, it's difficult to find someone to connect to when everyone else are much younger and with different living styles than i do.

i enjoy fine arts and musics (jazz & blues), baseball and tennis, semi-out going, love to hang around at the bar and drink some fresh cold beer, anyone else down to this please please let me know! i miss the old days at Irish bars in Newark (NJ), and i really miss the times with a bunch of good friends chatting up and having a good-o-social drinking hours. let's meet up!
