Primary school nightmare...Help!

Hello,

We are moving to Mauritius in August. We thought we had found a good school in Paul et Virginie. Our daughter secured a place. Then it fell apart... Our english/french bilingual child, 5 years old, 6 at the end of July, currently attends a French school with an English system, Year 1, in the UK. P et V want to place her into CP. In which they are just starting writing and writing in french, no English at all.
It's not an academic school, it's more a school of life, as it was explained. Oh no!
My partner understandably wants the French to continue as I do too, but the English too. It's our native languages. Plus, I do not want my child to stagnate.
Can anyone suggest an alternative school that can offer this?
