Respect / mourning for passing of Thai King

Just about a week until I move to Thailand for work. I understand the official mourning period for the passing of the King is one year. Interested in forum members' views on whether this should impact the clothing I pack. Is it acceptable to wear colors or should I expect to wear more subdued colors? I want to make sure I am respectful yet practical thus would welcome your feedback. Thank you.

Black,white and gray(public offices) ,some organisations opted for Black.This doesnt apply to companies/organisations that provide uniforms to employees.i have seen/met so many people dressed in company uniforms of colour. You can subdued colours for both official and personal use
