Hey Guys!

I have recently been interviewed and apparently my employer has received the security clearance.

I need to know:
1. is security clearance same as approval for visa?
2. what is the probability of work visa being rejected after the security clearance?
3. at what stage should i resign from my current employer?

Security clearance is the initial step of employment visa processing. Your work permit will be approved after the clearance and your employer need to pay for it. Once it is done, they need to submit your visa application and that is how the process is. There are chances for rejections for various reasons, but unfortunately, MOL will not disclose the reason for rejection. Don't worry, it happens rarely. Wish you best of luck.
