Hello everyone,
I am Azeri, soon will marry to Turkish and will move from Baku to istanbul.

I am here to get advises regrding banking issues.
I want to store some money and get interest on that for last 2/3 years.

I wonder if there any safe and good bank for foreigners like me and good interest rate. I wrote to HSBC but they said I need Tax code number first.
Is here anyone who got it, I suppose I will get temporary ID after marriage however need some directions/advises in bank issues.

You need to go to tax office with your passport and get the tax number within 5 minutes. Then go to the bank for openning an account , but you should have residence permit. otherwise you cant open account.
Though I dont recommend interest The turkish banks are all safe since 1998 collapse
