What is the current rule for the transfer of commercial visa to work visa?
Is it possible to obtain work visa directly without commercial visa if the company recruits someone from abroad?
How many times a commercial visa can be extended after the initial 30 days?

We seem to be going through similar issues, Can anyone please, please answer the above question for us, this seems to have changed since April 1st and we don't know where we stand.
Adding to thahir313's questions, I was offered a job since February, and after sorting out all the paperwork, i was informed this weekend that my company will be getting me a commercial visa. Could anyone advice me as to if they are no more issuing work permits???????

Welcome to the club.
Yes, at the moment work permits are not issued, but that has been known to change in the past and probably will again in the near future. Unfortunately no one can tell you when and if it will change.
