Hi all. We are moving out to Gozo in two weeks, the house is being packed day by day. We can't wait!
I was wondering is there any expats in Gozo. We are 26 and 32 and would like to make some new friends. X

Hi
It would be helpful to know if it would wise to bring my own car
over to Gozo
I realise I would have to pay import duty, but how much?.
Does anybody know the cost of shipping the car? Any information about the move to Gozo would be much appreciated.
Many thanks
Brian & Bunty
shipping of car from UK - about £1000
registration tax - depends on age and emissions of car

Depends upon your intended usage. We do not work and the bus service on Gozo is excellent, as are taxis. We will not have a car.
My opinion, for what it's worth, is if you are going to work on Malta live on Malta.
Thank you very much for your reply - we will do some checking.
We are so greatful for any information we receive
