Hi everyone,

I was born in Poland and lived in South Africa from the age of 3. I recently emigrated to Germany. Can I in any way claim any benefits from Germany while I am looking for a job here in Germany?

I am new here so I would just like to know what I am entitled to as a Polish person in Germany.

No, you can't without having contributed to the German social security system first.

Hi,

I'm polish and I work in Germany currently. I don't think you are entitled to any benefits if you didn't work here before, don't have citizenship and don't have abmeldung.
