Hi all! I recently signed a contract to work in Seoul. I will be in the Dongdaemun area, and would love some contacts of others going to work in Seoul soon! I will be arriving mid-August. I am scared to go alone, but I know the adventure will be worth it. Gotta have some good friends along the way! I am American, and Southern to boot, which means I'm quite friendly 
I am in a relationship and NOT looking for that kind of friendship. Just want to have a good time and know someone when I go!

My best advice is to join the several expat groups on Facebook and Internet.
For example you have Language cast on meet-up.com or Seoul English Party on Facebook. They organize events regularly and you'll meet a lot of foreigners but also Koreans !

You should join CouchSurfing Seoul group, I think they have monthly meetings, for dinner and drinks.I went to a two meetings before and it was a lot of fun. Seoul is a beautiful city you'll have fun there.
