Hello!
Does anybody here knows how long it takes to renew the residence visa? I need to apply for a france short stay visa for a business trip but the required document included six months validity of passport and visa, mine will expire this november... 
anyhow, if anyone of you can help, that would be great! It's a bonus if you know how long it takes for the shengen visa to be processed... 
I need to fly to france mid october..

You can renew your residencia while you wait or at least that what happened to me last time.

don't you need medical check-up first before they approve the visa?
It is great news to me if it will only take a day...

You will need to do the medical first. Renewal can be done the same day.

I'm on the same situation. My visa will expire by august this year and planning to have a trip to cuba this july. Would it be possible to renew my visa earlier.
