Hi, we are in Aguilas for one week only and are trying to find either 2nd hand grills to protect out front door and patio doors. There is a problem with squatters.It takes 15 days to get them new and we have to go back in less than a week.
Help please

In the meantime will you install a home monitor like those by Xiaomi at about 250€? So that you can see on your phone what's going on in your house while you're away, and call the police immediately if you see that someone is breaking in. It records the images and upload to the cloud too.

It?s unfortunate but true that most rejas (metal grills) provide practically no security.

They are usually set into the typical spain terracotta building ?brick? which, unlike a British brick, have almost no integral strength. With almost any sort of lever, piece of wood even, they can be forced out of the wall.
