Visa Extension at Airport?

I am about 10 days late. No, I'm not pregnant. Just overstayed my 30 day visa. I have been attempting to go through the government visa extension website without much success. Basically, they require a passport photo, which you can take on your phone while filling in the website application. But, a standard iPhone photo is 2.5 MB and they need a photo of less than 1.5 MB. I used a site called Cloudinary to reduce the weight of the photo, but they just sent me back that the photo was too small.

My visa extension is taking a long time and I will probably want to leave before it is approved. So, my question is whether I can just pay an overstay fine at the airport before my flight or do I have to go to the main immigration office in town to sort it out?

As far as I know... airport still works

Just  pay the overstay fee at the airport in  this case.

To answer my own post, I overstayed for 10 or 11 days, and it was fast and easy to pay at the airport. Costs 2500 pesos for this length of overstay, which is the same as you would pay online.
