I am moving to Alicante from Sweden and heard that the tax for other EU citizens than Spanish are higher. Is it beneficial to become a Spanish citizen?

Everyone who is tax resident in Spain is subject to the same rules, rates of tax and regulations.
Non resident EU property owners pay : 19% tax,
non resident, non EU owners pay 24%,
on property they own in Spain.
