Can i please ask a general question. Has anyone who is tax-resident in Spain received an inheritance in UK? Inheritance tax has to paid in UK of course, but is it then necessary/desirable to declare everything to the Spanish tax authorities? Looks like a right pain in terms of bureaucracy, and I would be grateful for advice. Thanks a lot!

I just lost the post I typed, but it basically said, I am 99% certain you are liable to pay that tax in spain
