How to e-file 1040sr online from Philippines (2019) ?

Looking through IRS Website, I see they replaced the 1040 EZ with the 1040sr. I see that you can e-file from the USA, I among many, was not required to file returns for 2018 & 2019.

I have not found a way to e-file from the Philippines. Does anyone plan to e-file? I don't want to use the Philippine postal system to mail in my tax return and I would like to avoid the cost of FedEx'ing.

Preferably would like a self filling form plus e-file.

you might be able to use one of these
https://apps.irs.gov/app/freeFile/

otherwise just do the regular 1040 on freefillableforms
https://www.irs.gov/e-file-providers/be … able-forms

I did that 2nd option in less than 30 minutes.

I did the H&R Block online direct filing to the IRS. I´m military retired so it´s free at Military One Source. Veterans are also free. If paying, would cost around $60. They hold your hand, ask questions and fill up all the right forms, and do the electronic filing for you. Done in about 15-20 minutes! You can also find TurboTax online. Don´t believe they´re free. They always find a way to charge you. The more complicated like tax itemizing, the more expensive. If it´s only like simple standard filing then around $60.
