Hi the waiting time is really depends on the cases. I have applied since October 27th 2018 and it's almost a year but I haven't got informed for interview yet. My boyfriend and I have been emailing/calling them for more updates during the waiting time. I know they are working on my case and have reviewed my boyfriend's documents so far.
My other friend also applying this permit and they got informed from the agent in MV, the waiting time is more likely going to be more than a year even the estimation time for their case shown on the website is 7-9 months. They haven't had their interview yet and they already submitted for 8 months.

I hope this information won't discourage you but at least give you some idea. Applying this permit might take longer then you expect. (but might also shorter than you expected) Good luck!!
